Parents and legal guardians: 

On behalf of George Christian Educational staff I would love to welcome you to our 2023-24 school year! My name is Mr. Kevin Jones, I would like to take the time to introduce myself as the new principal for Alternative Education. During this school year we will be working closely together to ensure that your child finds success in our program. I look forward to making this a positive and  exciting experience for all students at George Christian Educational Center and their families.

All students are required to attend an orientation prior to their enrollment to any of our programs. All students will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  This orientation is mandatory. Please keep in mind that students will not be enrolled until he/she attends an orientation with a parent/guardian. 

During our orientation we will go over expectations, protocols, handbook, dress code, academic and  behavior consequences, intervention options, and for last we will complete online registration as required by the district. You will have the opportunity to ask questions or address any concerns at this time.

Initial Orientation date is Wednesday, August 9, 2023

Location: GC Computer Lab

Times:  

Westside HS  

Grades 9-10 at 8:00 AM 

Grades 11 at 9:00 AM

Grades 12 at 10:30 AM

 

 

Independent Study Program (prior to the start of class) 

All grades at 1:00 PM

First Day of School & Student Orientation/Welcome Back!
