Updated Notice: Phone Service Disruption for Some Carriers

Dear DPOL Staff and Community,
I wanted to update you on our current issue affecting calls from AT&T, Cricket, and related services. AT&T is currently experiencing widespread network disruptions that are impacting 7 counties and 142 cellular sites within our region. As a result, you may encounter dropped calls or difficulty reaching individuals who use these carriers.

AT&T began working on the issue today, October 17, 2024. They anticipate the network repairs will be completed by October 18, 2024, though it is possible that the resolution may extend into the following days.

We understand the challenges this may pose, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as the situation is being addressed. In the meantime, if you have urgent communication needs, please consider using alternative methods such as another cell phone using a different service, email, or other messaging platforms to maintain contact.
