COUNSELING SERVICES
A school counselor, mental health clinician, and school psychologist are available to support students with a wide range of academic and mental health needs. At GCEC, student wellness is a top priority, and our comprehensive support team is dedicated to helping every student succeed.
Our school counselor, Mrs. Gutierrez, provides academic guidance, social/emotional and college and career planning. She works closely with students to help them navigate their educational journey while supporting their personal growth and development.
In addition, our behavioral health clinician, Ms. Rodriguez, offers specialized mental health services, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family concerns. These services help ensure students receive the care and resources they need to thrive emotionally and socially.
Our school psychologist, Ms. Navarro, supports students through assessment, counseling, and collaboration with teachers and families to identify and address learning or behavioral challenges. Services include individual and group counseling, behavior intervention planning, crisis support, and assistance with special education evaluations.
Please contact our office if you would like to receive additional information about our counseling services or regarding the referral process at (209) 392-0280. Thank you.
