Principal's Message

Westside High School, and Independent Study 

 

As the Principal at George Christian Education Center I would like to welcome you to the 2024-2025 School Year.  We will have the expectations of the highest level of success both academically and socially, as well as personal goals and accomplishments. The faculty and staff are extremely dedicated and committed to student success, community support, and involvement. We are excited about some of the new things coming to our campus which should help students both mentally and physically. 

 

We will be having our MANDATORY Orientation for all students and parents or legal guardians,  Wednesday August 7, 2024 at 9:00 am. Our school year begins on Tuesday August 13th at 8:40 am..Parents and students are encouraged to attend the First Day Orientation in Room #2. Please remember that all students are required to attend the first time mandatory orientation prior to their enrollment to any of our programs. Our students are expected to attend school daily. They are picked up by the bus at the Post Office at  8:30 am and are returned to the Post Office at approx. 2:30 pm except on early release every Wednesday which will be at 1:35 pm You will receive a letter with all the information. 

 

I am excited for the upcoming school year and would like to let you know that I can be reached at any time. If you have any questions on any related topic regarding your child’s education, you are more than welcome to come by the campus if you wish to speak to me in person, or you may contact me via phone at (209) 392 – 0282. I am available from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F. In addition, please feel free to contact teachers  if needed, any time between the hours of 7:30 am to  3:30 pm.

 

We know the staff at George Christian Education Center is willing to help prepare your child for life beyond high school. Teachers, parents, and students all need to work together to help your child realize his/her goals.
